Who we are

What this website collects

This website collects no health information. The only form that sends information to us is an optional sign-up for marketing texts (first name and mobile number), described under "Text messages". The team-quote form on our For Teams page sends nothing to this website: it opens a pre-filled email in your own email app, and we receive only what you choose to send. Until 5 October 2026 it offered a waitlist form that asked for an email address, a first name, a program of interest and a state; we still hold the entries submitted before then, for the purpose and period below.

A first-party analytics beacon records page views and interactions against a random session id. It stores no IP address and no device fingerprint. On the first page of a visit it also records your approximate location (country, state or region, and city), which our hosting provider estimates from your IP address; we receive only that estimate, never the address itself. It also records your browser's language setting (for example, English) and whether this browser has visited before, using a yes/no flag kept in your browser's local storage (it holds no identifier, and clearing this site's data removes it). Of the page address, it keeps only the route pattern; on the first page of a visit it also keeps the referring website's host name (for example, mail.google.com) and any campaign tags in the link that brought you here (source, medium and campaign name), with any tag that could describe a health condition or product removed. It also notes whether a visit appears to be automated (for example, a search-engine crawler or a test browser). To decide this it reads your browser's user-agent string but does not store it, and automated visits are excluded from our reports. There are no third-party analytics or advertising tags on this site.

Text messages

If you choose to receive text messages from Risen MD — by ticking an unticked consent box on a Risen MD form — we use your mobile number and the record of your consent only to send the messages you agreed to and to honor your opt-out. Messages may include offers and updates about Risen MD programs. They never contain your health information and never name a medication. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help; you can also email support@risenmd.com.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text-message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your number and consent are shared only with the service providers that deliver messages for us (our messaging platform and the mobile carriers), and only to deliver them. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Care, intake and orders

Clinical intake and treatment run inside a HIPAA-compliant platform operated for the independent licensed providers who treat you — they are covered entities for the care they provide. Risen Med LLC treats the health information it holds as protected health information and handles it under HIPAA's rules for covered entities. That information is governed by the Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this website policy.

Medical records and other personal health information are accessible only to the people directly involved in your care — your treating provider, a dispensing pharmacy when something is prescribed, and the support staff who need them to help you.

Retention

Analytics events are kept for 13 months. Waitlist entries submitted before the form was removed are kept until the launch sequence completes, then for 12 months. Text-message consent records and opt-outs are kept while you are subscribed and for 4 years after you opt out, so we can show consent and keep honoring your opt-out.
